GODDESSES 3.0

Geri Hahn will present her recent work, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun with a Nod to Cindy Lauper, Judy Chicago, Miriam Shapiro, Ariel Pink, and the 230,000,000 Women Who Have Undergone Female Genital Mutilation (2025), in GODDESSES 3.0. The show opens on February 27th and is on view through April 10, 2026, at the Kresge Gallery, Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Hahn’s work examines how women’s bodies have been historically venerated as divine while simultaneously subjected to cultural and physical violation. She creates layered, appliqued, and embroidered textile works, as well as sculptures and prints. 

Hahn’s art has been exhibited internationally in Russia, Spain, Ireland, and England, as well as at notable museum institutions including the Montclair Art Museum and the New Britain Museum of American Art. Geri has collaborated on interdisciplinary projects, including animation and an augmented reality game based on her art, with original musical compositions.
